TYPES OF PROJECTS

Depending on the person's profile, all types of projects can be supported while including face-to-face interviews, group discussions and workshops.

Local project vs "Once back-in-my-country" project vs "Nomadic" project

"Some accompanying spouses come to Gothenburg with already a business or an activity in mind and seek for information on how to establish quickly as an independent. As examples we have yoga teacher, zumba teacher, cooking teacher, photographer, tour operator, baker, upholsterer, ... Some of those people already had that type of professional activity in their home country or want to make a business from their passion. On the other side, people thinking about a reconversion can prepare a business plan for the future, once they will be back in their country.
Some can even build their project having in mind that they will be able to continue it while they move around the world. We know examples of people who are selling products online or through home meetings.

A project for my self-improvement vs a project to boost my resume/cv

"Whether you are looking for a job or not, starting a project is always a rewarding exercise that helps you to know more about yourself. You can start writing a blog or learn how to restore old furniture because this is something you want to experience. But if you are looking for a job, starting a project in your professional field will grow your portfolio and show your skills. Employers will definitely see your potential.

Business vs Non-profit project

"Some people just want to stay active in a professional way without launching a business, because they plan to stay only a few years.  They will preferably go for a non-profit activity."

A "soon-to-be project" vs  a "once they retire" project

"Some people are older and, being close to retire, they can think about starting a business or an activity for the future like run a Bed&Breakfast, create an art gallery, or a hiking club."

An individual project vs a collaborative project

" For people who are not interested in working on the personal side and are more focused on socializing, collaborative projects can be encouraged."

Something more simple

" For those who have les time, they are more keen to coordinate an event. This is a way to experience entrepreneurship very quickly and without taking big risks. For example, they can organize a workshop, a concert, birthday parties, sport event or trips."
